- I can count 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 up to 100 and back again.
- I can count 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 up to 100 and back again.
Count by 2s,5s,10s.

LEARNING INTENTION

Today with Mr Shaskey we learned about sketching and drawing. We learned to set the limits, draw the outline and then add the shapes.

SUCCESS CRITERIA
We can follow instructions and sketch some fruit and vegetables

Art Term 1 2014

I am learning to: sketch and paint.

I can do this when I can: use drawing techniques, mix colours, use different painting strokes and outline a painting.

Term 4 Discovery

In Discovery we explore a variety of learning through a variety of activities.

Dannielle is learning about movement, keeping in time to music and following a model through Jump Jam

When Dannielle was the Super Star the class was asked what made her a Super Star, these are some of their responses:

Term 4 Dance

Can move in time to the music.
Can follow a series of movements.

We are doing a great job of following the moves and making them big for everyone to see.

NEXT STEP:

Perform in front of an audience.

Term 3 Gymnastics

In term 3 we were learning to jump and roll in gymnastics.

Success Criteria:

Can perform two different kinds of rolls correctly (pencil and hedgehog).

Next Step:

To learn more advanced rolls like the elephant and circle roll.

Student Voice:

"I liked the hedgehog roll because it was hard but I did it well. It was hard to hold up my legs for the dish roll"

Term 3 Mihi

In Room 14 we start each day by saying our personal Mihi. We do this to learn about and incorporate Maori culture into our classroom.

Success Criteria:

Can introduce myself
Can introduce my Mother, Father, and Teacher
Can say where we come from
